A proper Kafi Luz should be so light that you can still read a newspaper through the glass. Whether the coffee actually tastes good, however, depends not only on correct preparation. Quality starts already with the selection of the fruits for the brandy.
From fresh fruit to Kafi Luz
During our tour, you can follow the journey of the pears from the fruit intake, through the distillery, to the bottling and finally see how the pear brandy flows into the bottle. We introduce you to the art of distilling and give you a behind-the-scenes look at Distillerie Willisau.
Kafi Luz in the traditional way
You will prepare your own Kafi Luz in the traditional style – we provide valuable tips and answer all the burning questions you may have.
Tasting
Smell and taste the fruits in the distillate. In addition to the classic Kafi Luz, you can sample other coffee specialties. To complement the experience, we serve you and your team a typical Hinterländer morning or afternoon snack.
