Therefore we recommend to start the trip in Kriens and to plan the route against the main route. This way you can comfortably change to the ship in Alpnachstad.

Yes, especially the large children's playground on Krienseregg is ideal for the whole family. In addition, there is the Pilu rope park on Fräkmüntegg especially for children. When there is a large crowd of people, it can be a bit cramped with the stroller in the cable car or the Pilatus cable car from Alpnachstad. The strollers can only be transported folded.

Yes, the ticket is valid for the boat trip and the Pilatus cable cars. In Alpnachstad or Kriens, however, a ticket for the Pilatus Railway turnstile must be collected on presentation of the ticket. The bus ticket from Kriens to Lucerne is also part of the Golden Round Trip and therefore included in the ticket price.
