Rossweid | from Sörenberg
Description
The Rossweid in Sörenberg is the place where families and nature lovers love to go – the colourful moors enchant with their unique flora and fauna. Nature lovers can enjoy the unique landscape on the numerous footpaths through orchid-lined moorland and hike to Salwideli, Kemmerioboden-Bad or even the tallest mountain in Lucerne, the Brienzer Rothorn. The popular Rossweid buffet offered every Sunday in the restaurant makes a perfect start to a day’s walking.
Younger visitors can enjoy themselves in the Mooraculum moorland water park until it’s closing time for the aerial cableway. The Mooraculum has everything that families with children could ever want: ponds with water toys, an Explorer Pass with tasks, climbing adventures, a hanging chair forest and picnic spots. The focus is on the mystical theme of moorland. Visitors of all ages learn how a moor is formed, get to know its inhabitants and are encouraged to experience the moor with all their senses. The Mooraculum also includes two adventure paths, the pushchair-friendly Sonnentau Path and the Great Moor Circular Path, both with exciting, interactive adventure stations.
