Always from Lucerne or Interlaken on the right side in the direction of travel. (Lower seat rows in the booking mask)

Seat reservations can be made at the earliest 6 months prior to departure.
This route is fully included in the Swiss Travel Pass (Flex), the GA (General Abonnement) and the Tell-Pass (2 to 10-day ticket for Central Switzerland). As the owner of one of these passes, you do not need to buy a transport ticket. To reserve a seat only, select "Reservation only" in the booking process. The same applies if you already own a ticket for the route.
The Swiss Half-Fare travelcard is valid on the route, so select "Half-Fare" in the booking process.
Full-price tickets are purchased by selecting "no discount".
Children up to and including 5 years of age travel for free. If you would like to reserve a seat for your child, please select "reservation only." Children aged 6 to 15 require a half-price ticket – please choose the discount level "Half Fare."
Please note that due to fare regulations, there may be restrictions when reserving seats for children. If you receive an error message, we recommend booking the seat reservation separately from the ticket.

Yes, in the middle of the train in the bistro restaurant.
Coach 4 is the bistro coach. Seats in this carriage can be reserved, but consumption is compulsory. Consumption is not compulsory in the other coaches.
