Payment methods
The Lucerne–Lake Lucerne Marketplace accepts a wide range of payment methods, from debit and credit cards to mobile payment options and vouchers. Below you will find an overview of all available payment methods.
Bank and credit cards
On the Marktplatz Luzern–Vierwaldstättersee, you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and UnionPay credit cards.
Please note that all credit card payments require 3D Secure verification (e.g. Visa Secure or Mastercard Identity Check). If the verification cannot be completed successfully or is not activated for your card, the payment will be automatically declined for security reasons.
This security measure is mandatory and cannot be bypassed or disabled. For questions regarding 3D Secure, please contact your bank or credit card provider directly.
Mobile payment
On the Marktplatz Luzern–Vierwaldstättersee, you can conveniently pay with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Please note that successful payment depends on the security and authentication settings of your device and your linked card. Depending on your bank or card issuer, additional verification may be required. If authentication cannot be completed successfully, the payment will be declined for security reasons.
Make sure your card is correctly added to Apple Pay or Google Pay and that all required security features are enabled on your device. For setup or authentication issues, please contact your bank, card issuer, or the respective payment provider.
Twint
On the Marktplatz Luzern–Vierwaldstättersee, you can conveniently pay with TWINT.
To complete the payment successfully, the transaction must be confirmed in the TWINT app. If the payment is not approved within the given time or if a connection or authentication issue occurs, the transaction will be automatically cancelled.
Please ensure that your TWINT app is up to date, that you have a stable internet connection, and that your TWINT account has sufficient funds. For questions or issues, please contact your TWINT provider or your bank.
Central Switzerland voucher
On the Marktplatz Luzern–Vierwaldstättersee, you can also pay with the Central Switzerland voucher.
Redemption is subject to the respective voucher conditions. For questions regarding validity or balance, please contact the issuing authority of the Central Switzerland voucher. A list of redemption locations can be found here.
