On a leisurely hike starting in the old town of Lucerne to Kastanienbaum (Horw), we experience the diverse landscapes between the city and the countryside. With Lake Lucerne at our side, and with a unique, elevated view from the Bireggwald forest to the Central Swiss mountains, we walk via Felmis and the Dickiwald forest toward our destination of Kastanienbaum, where we can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The return journey to the city of Lucerne is comfortably made by bus. Along the way, you'll learn about the culture, flora, and fauna and get to know this beautiful region better.
