Rigythm – Sonic Horizons 24.10.2026 | Weggis
The second sound exploration of hidden places for open and curious ears will take place this year on Saturday 24 October in Weggis.
Rigythm situates international sound art within the unique cultural landscape of Weggis and Vitznau. The series creates a space of resonance in which music, people and landscape come together in ever-changing forms. This is achieved through workshops, collaborations, talks and small concerts in exciting and unusual locations.

Description
We warmly welcome you to the second Rigythm Sound Exploration Journey in Weggis – a unique, thought-provoking and experimental experience. Join us on a journey of discovery to explore new sounds and surprising places.
Featuring Martina Berther, Kappeler | Zumthor, Saadet Türköz and contributions from the Seegemeinden Music School, we are offering a varied programme with outstanding musicians that will enrich your ears with fresh sounds and unexpected ideas.
The event will take place on the picturesque Hertenstein peninsula at the Stella Matutina practical school, which is currently under construction. For two centuries, this spacious estate was in the care of the Sisters of Baldegg, who founded the region’s first girls’ school.
We’ll start with a workshop at 2 pm, followed by the sound exploration journey at 7 pm.
For those feeling peckish, there’ll be a delicious soup, and for those feeling thirsty, a variety of drinks. The event is suitable for all age groups.
