Learn how milk is turned into cheese and mozzarella, why our cows and buffaloes are so content, where Switzerland’s first buffalo mozzarella was made, and much more.
But what would a visit to our dairy be without sampling our cheese? Only half a visit! That’s why we offer our visitors a small aperitif consisting of seven varieties of the cheese specialities we make here. We also serve mini buffalo quark tarts and the finest buffalo bread from the Stein bakery in Schangnau in the Emmental.
