In summer, Melchsee-Frutt is known for its impressive flora and fauna. Alpine flowers along the way, the gentle lapping of the Melchsee, Tannensee and Blausee mountain lakes and various places to stop for refreshments make for an all-round feel-good package.

The “Fruttli-Weg” nature trail is a fun adventure for the whole family. The circular tour leads around Lake Melchsee and is suitable for baby carriages. Various fireplaces by the lake invite you to linger and barbecue. But it's not just on foot that guests can enjoy the natural surroundings. Fishing is possible in the 3 mountain lakes during the summer season, there are bike tours and climbing in the Bonigarten offers wonderful views of the high plateau. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take the Frutt train, which runs every hour.
