Stanserhorn
CabriO – The world first double-decker aerial cableway with open upper deck.
In Stans, climb aboard the vintage funicular railway dating back to 1893. Travel at a leisurely pace through level terrain, fields and woodland to Kälti – just a short distance away. Here is where you change to the ultra-modern CabriO – the world first double-decker aerial cableway with open upper deck.
The cableway trip is not the only thing to look forward to – once you reach 1,900 m, all sorts of possibilities present themselves for kicking back and relaxing. Take in the views of the Alps and ten lakes, or marvel at the fascinating fauna and flora. The Stanserhorn rangers are on hand to help you find the marmots and spot the eagle soaring high above.

Culinary:
Revolving restaurant Rondorama: food centred on hand-picked ingredients from Switzerland and the Alpine region. Sustainable and regional food culture is our credo. We conjure up the magic of the Alps on your plate. The revolving restaurant is a self-service restaurant. Sit back and let us spoil you with culinary delights. The restaurant is open daily during the Stanserhorn season. Hot meals are ready from 11 am.
Sustainability:
The Stanserhorn cable car has been committed to sustainable development on the mountain for years. It uses renewable energy and passive solar energy through an intelligent solar architecture for the mountain restaurant, which is built from local timber. Stanserhorn has always walked in harmony with nature. Here, we enjoy the biodiversity of the protected area. Treated rainfall is used for process water, a solar collector system heats the hot water and provides most of the room heating in the revolving restaurant Rondorama
