This is the Rigythm

The curated concert series RIGYTHM - what happened to Jazz brings top-class jazz music of various styles to the Lucerne Riviera at the foot of the Rigi. At the venues converted into concert venues, RIGYTHM creates exciting experiences with an uncomplicated, inviting atmosphere. RIGYTHM integrates itself into the cultural landscape around the Rigi. The concerts set impulses in social and cultural interaction. The series consists of curated seasons of around 6 concerts. The curators bring musicians from their environment to Lake Lucerne, giving their season an unmistakable character. In this way, RIGYTHM presents different scenes and always illuminates different perspectives on jazz. The motto what happened to jazz is both an announcement and a question. At RIGYTHM you can not only discover new music, but also innovative formats in contemporary settings. The concerts take place in venues that have little to do with music in everyday life, such as workshops, old or uninhabited buildings, barns or production halls. These everyday, typical localities make RIGYTHM a dynamic part of cultural life in the lakeside communities of Weggis and Vitznau. RIGYTHM is a meeting place. Whether you are a jazz connoisseur, a curious local resident, a student or a culturally interested tourist: there is something for everyone. The modern concept makes RIGYTHM an intersection of music, leisure, tourism and entertainment. RIGYTHM is updating music, creating meeting places, inclusion, rooting locally, connecting tourism and local society, interweaving culture/music with social togetherness - versatile and multi-layered.
